International Neuroblastoma Risk Group (INRG) pretreatment risk classification groups. Combines INRGSS stage with tumor histology, MYCN status, ploidy, and other prognostic factors.

VERY_LOW Very Low Risk Very low risk neuroblastoma with excellent prognosis. Typically includes L1 tumors and MS without MYCN amplification. >85%
LOW Low Risk Low risk neuroblastoma with favorable prognosis. Treatment may include surgery alone or observation. >75%
INTERMEDIATE Intermediate Risk Intermediate risk neuroblastoma requiring multimodal treatment including chemotherapy. 50-75%
HIGH High Risk Neuroblastoma NCIT:C150281 High risk neuroblastoma with poor prognosis. Requires intensive multimodal therapy including high-dose chemotherapy with autologous stem cell rescue, surgery, radiation, and immunotherapy. <50% often
